Yannic Explains: Document Upload to AI

In this video, Yannic, CTO at DeepJudge, explains the hidden process behind document uploads to AI systems. When you drop a file into ChatGPT or another AI tool, the model doesn’t “read” it like a human would. Instead, the application extracts the text, builds a carefully structured prompt that includes both your document and your question, and then sends that prompt to the large language model (LLM). The LLM generates a response, which the application streams back to you. This behind-the-scenes process is far simpler (and less magical) than many imagine.
